out for breakfast |
Well Fidalgo, Rosario and Anacortes anyway. Did the old thing - wake, read, coffee, go to town for breakfast. In this case someplace called Gere & Deli on the main in always impressive Anacortes where we had egg sandwiches. The entire end of the main drag at the north end was filled with a dry docked WA State Ferry sticking way up in the sky down there.
Heading south we stopped in to Kaiser Garage to see Jason and find out if he knew about all the rv stuff as well as being the foremost expert anywhere on the Mercedes Sprinter itself. He seemed to be just wandering about the parking lot outside his shop and we only had to pull up next to him and introduce ourselves as the owners of the yellow Sprinter with the back racing stripes and we were on solid ground since he could see plainly that we were now deep in Sprinter Valhalla as we were in the clearly next tier silver Adventurous. He demurely told us that yes of course he also was skilled in all aspects of rv stuff.
Home for a rest. D and me did a Cottage cheese run in the maximum heat hour. Had a dull beer at the brewery, but the server was chatty and dog savvy. Out at 6:30 for Western Heroes at Bayview. Got a shout out from D. Licastro. I think because he was living at my place when he wrote the next tune. Not sure. Taken by surprise and couldn't hear him too well. Anyway it was a very comfortable visit with the community and possibly a mini super-spreader occasion.
